The OMUK Story

Infusing Korean Jeong (情, Affection) into Everyday Life in Myanmar

OMUK is more than just a street food stop; we are a messenger of the Korean culture of ‘Jeong’—a deep feeling of affection, connection, and empathy woven into the Korean way of life. In Korea, OMUK and Tteokbokki symbolize happy memories shared with friends and comforting warmth on a cold day, going beyond just food. OMUK began ambitiously in 2018 to integrate this warm, friendly Korean sentiment into Myanmar’s rich culture.

For this part, we will write an additional introduction of yourself or your business. This can be about your company history, success stories, or the product or services you offer. It can also tell about how you helped clients achieve their desired results.

01

K-Authenticity (Truth)

We strictly adhere to core ingredients and recipes from the Korean headquarters to ensure the deep, authentic taste is identical to what you’d enjoy in Korea.

02

K-Freshness (Vitality)

We use the freshest, highest-quality local vegetables and meats in Myanmar, preparing our food with a renewed commitment every day. Our principle: ‘We don’t sell yesterday’s food today.’

03

K-Trend (Innovation)

While preserving the tradition of Korean Bunsik, we quickly incorporate the latest trends popular in Korea—from Rosé to Mala—to continuously create new and exciting flavors.

Our Vision
